Cal

Cal has been adopted!

Sponsored by Ana and Ben in lieu of wedding favours, for their upcoming nuptials

Cal is a wonderful puppy. He was found as a stray and had been living in an overcrowded shelter. Not a great start to life as a puppy. He absolutely loves being rescued and being in a home environment. He melts into your arms longing for love and a tummy rub. He is the perfect combination of playful puppy but is calm inside the house. He has had no previous training but Border Collies are one of the smartest breeds and he is learning fast! He sleeps in a crate quietly. We have noticed over time his true border collie instincts. Although he is fine with other dogs, a herding instinct kicks in at times. This causes him to nip at other dogs and almost try to drive them into a corner. He can become almost fixated on the other dog and difficult to distract him from this natural instinct.  He has a need for alot of exercise. We have been biking with him to tire him out. He also needs mental stimulation. We play hide & go seek, and alot of ball. He is fine with cats. He is great with kids of all ages. He walks best with a Halti. He has a slight facial disfigurement and the cause is unknown due to being a stray. It doesn’t cause him any problems. He is waiting for the right kind of home that can handle his border collie needs.

Cal was lovingly fostered by Tiffany
