Britney has been adopted!
A note from Britney: Hi everyone! I am Britney (yes, that’s really my name!) I am sooooo happy that I was saved from that cold pound, where my family dumped me because they didn’t have time for me anymore! Guess they didn’t know how scared and heart broken I was. I have always been a house dog and adore people and other dogs. They groomed me like a schnauzer, but I do have beautiful pure white Maltese hair ! I don’t pay any attention to cats because they are mostly much bigger than me.
My foster mum says I am the sweetest little girl because I love to be in her lap, give kisses and fall asleep feeling safe. In fact, I’m sitting in her lap as she types this for me. I’m quiet, happy, very friendly, love to eat softer foods and learning about house training. I love going out in the yard with the others and especially love walks. I get soooo excited when I see the leash! I love to sleep close on the bed and also love car rides but usually just fall asleep. I just want to feel safe and loved again in my forever home, could it be yours?
A note from Britney’s foster mom: I can’t tell you how very sweet little Britney is! She even loved the vet and walked around visiting everyone there! It seems that she was trained to use pee pads, but I am trying to train her to always go outdoors. Britney came to us with the most horrifically neglected teeth. Our regular vets say she needs that expert care so our rescue will of course do whatever is necessary to help her feel better as soon as she can. I just don’t know how anyone could give up this precious girl and walk away. She deserves a very loving home and we will find it for her.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
