Dogs

Bailey

Bailey has been adopted.

Bailey is the first born of Mona’s puppies, so technically, he’s the oldest of the puppies. Bailey is slightly different in looks, compared to his siblings, so he might possibly have a different dad. He’s a ‘low rider’, so his legs are shorter, and he is stalky in stature and more muscular frame, compared to the rest of his siblings.

This very sweet boy is happy to meet new people and is also super friendly, just like mom!  He adores attention and to snuggle on the couch once he’s warn out.  His favourite game is also fetch/retrieve. Bailey is teething and will require durable, good quality chew toys/bones to help him through his teething/chewing stage, and to keep him from chewing your furniture or anything he can sink his teeth into!  He is quick and will need constant redirection to chew on his chew toys at this stage.

Just like his siblings, he is also learning to ‘go’ on pee pads and sometimes hits his target perfectly, while other times, not so much.  His new family will be house-training him, so a solid plan must be in place, prior to adoption.

Due to cold temperatures, and given Bailey hasn’t yet had all his vaccinations, he has not been exposed to the outdoors, so this will be a new experience for him, once he goes to his new home.  Puppy’s can be a lot of fun, but a lot of work as well, so Bailey is going to require someone who is ready for the responsibility  (and worry) of raising a puppy to adulthood.  Puppy’s are a huge commitment to take on and a lot of time will be needed in order to raise a well adjusted, well socialized, balanced dog.

He will need someone home all or part of the day to help him along with his house-training, or someone who can go during the day to let him out the appropriate # of times for his age ie. @ 4 months = let out every 4 hours etc., until he’s an adult and fully house-trained.  This very sweet boy will melt your heart and have you at first puppy kiss, paws down!
