Meet Beautiful Yrsa

Yrsa is a a loving, happy, sweet, and energetic little girl.

Her favorite things include: horsing around with her foster brother (a 4 year old golden retriever), chasing toys, playing fetch, and eating treats.

Yrsa enjoys learning, and is trained to shake a paw, lie down, sit, stay, and roll over. She would really benefit from being with people who want to continue teaching her neat tricks and new games.

Yrsa is a truly special girl, who really will thrive if she gets the following from her forever home:

Being very pack-oriented, she needs people who will be home more than not. She gets nervous being left behind.

She is easy to train, and she is eager to please (especially for food). She needs mental stimulation, so people who want to interact with her lots would be best.

Yrsa is good with other dogs, preferably ones that are well-balanced, playful, and not overly anxious. She could probably live in a home without dogs but she would be happiest if she has a doggie friend.

Yrsa is a little too playful towards cats, and doesn’t understand that they aren’t dogs. For this reason, she is not suitable for a home with cats.

Being a shepherd crossed with husky, Yrsa has energy and would do best in a home where she goes on her own.
