Alyson

Alyson has been adopted!

Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby, Riley and Penny. Every furbaby deserves a loving home and happiness

Alyson is a 16 lb., 2-year-old female Terrier mix coming to us from a Tennessee shelter. She is white with brown patches and face. She has been micro chipped in the States. She is recently spayed and her vaccinations are current as of March 1 2021. There are no known health issues.

This sweet little girl was found on the side of a road with another young girl, both were pregnant. After having her pups, and when safe to leave them, she has come to us to find her forever home.

She is a quiet, sweet, gentle and happy girl Alyson is timid in new situations and will puddle down when overwhelmed, refusing to move. If her human is there to offer gentle support, she is more likely to have a stronger sense of confidence and brave the unknown.

She loves people, gets along very well with other dogs and cats. She definitely has the potential to be a social butterfly. It is unknown how she is with children but there is nothing in her current behavior to indicate this would be a problem.

This sweet little girl is a big cuddle bug, always near her human. She loves to be picked up and rocked or cuddled on the couch where she will not object to a tummy rub or two! She has no hesitation in asking for attention if you don’t notice her. She eats well and loves treats but is not sure of cookies. I am sure after time she will learn to love them! At treat time she begs by standing on her hind legs and walks backward never moving her eyes from the prize. She does have a tendency to try to take treats from the other dogs but listens when redirected away from them.

Alyson will be a welcome addition to any family. If you bring the love and care to give her a feeling of comfort and stability, she will be a most faithful companion.

Alyson was lovingly fostered by Jackie
