Goliath

Goliath has been adopted.

P-R- E-C- I-O- U-S is the best description for Goliath!… This petite 8 pound, approximately 7 year Chihuahua is as sweet as they get and will become the center of your world very quickly. Goliath earned his name due to the huge amount of love that he has to give to his people. He is such a social butterfly and just wants to be your lap puppy, working partner, or driving sidekick. When he is with his people, your lap is his favorite place to be — he is quite the little love bug and cuddler.

Goliath comes from a high kill shelter in Ohio. He is a very good eater which is important as he is very much under weight. He is eating 3 small meals a day to help him put on a few pounds. He is a comical little guy that is full of personality and always brings a smile to everyone’s face.

He does well around other dogs, and is indifferent to the cat in his foster home. He is currently trained to use pee pads; however, in his current foster home he takes care of his business outside. He walks very well on a leash, and seems to be a low energy dog that doesn’t need to be walked too far. So far, he has shown no interest in any type toy. He is very quiet when he is in his crate during the day when his foster family is at work.

During his recent vet visit (neuter and dental cleaning) Goliath was given a clean bill of health and although he had some of his teeth pulled he still manages to eat hard dog food mixed in with a little soft food. He also enjoys small soft dog treats.

Goliath is neutered, fully vaccinated, and negative for heart-worm and is looking for someone that would love to make him the centre of their life.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
