Violet

Violet is available for adoption

Sponsored in celebration of someone special’s birthday!

Sweet, shy Violet has arrived. As a girl from a puppy mill, she is timid and takes time to trust. Once she feels safe, she enjoys pets, snuggling on the couch and chewing her toys. Violet is fine in her crate and has been working on house training and walking on leash. A fenced in yard would be great as she loves to run with her foster fur sister.

Violet prefers someone home most of the time or another pup for company. She barks initially when on her own, but with routine this has lessened.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. As is common in small dogs, she has a grade 2 luxating patella in her right hind leg. Keeping her at a healthy weight and providing supplements such as glucosamine chondroitin and/or omegas can also be helpful.

Violet is ready to find a patient and loving forever home.
