Maizee is a lovely gentle girl who likes to spend time taking in everything around her. She’s sweet and gentle, a little shy too.
Maizee came from a hoarding/puppy mill type situation, in which she was not properly cared for. She came to us in serious need of a bath and a groom, and was not interested in interacting with neither the humans or the pets in the foster home. With a little time, she became curious and started to join us. Now, she happily plays with her foster fur siblings and loves to walk with her foster mom.
Maizee loves the outdoors and will find a place to sit and just observe all the things around her. She’s learned her name, and simple day to day commands really well. She’s 99% house trained (she does not like the rain.. so rainy days cause the odd accident inside).
She’s come a long way in a short time and blossomed into a really lovely little dog. She has a bright future ahead of her.
