Hershey

Hershey been adopted!

In honour of the Rescues for their endless and selfless efforts šŸ¾ā¤ļø.

Hershey Girl is a young, sweet and spirited terrier mix all the way from Tennessee. As a terrier mix, she possesses some great qualities of the breed.

Hershey loves long walks, playing in the yard and would love to have a forever family to join her on all of her adventures! Hershey enjoys learning new things and would like to attend some basic obedience classes with her new family. She would love a fenced in yard where she can play and chase the squirrels. Another dog in the house that enjoys wrestling and running would make Hershey very happy. Children over 8 yrs may be best, as she does jump. Hershey is a little bit too much for the cat in her foster home and may be best suited to a home without cats.

Hershey does bark to let her family know what is going on outside and would be best suited to a detached home.

Hershey enjoys meeting people and dogs on walks but may bark a bit initially until she gets comfortable. She’s enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and taking short hikes with her foster mom.

Hershey is house and crate trained. She gets crated for a few hours during the day and at night and is also crated in the car.

Hershey has so much potential. She knows basic commands sit, come, drop it, off and is learning the place command. She would benefit from continued obedience training to help bond with her special person. She is ready to play, make you laugh, snuggle, and give kisses.
