Alyson has been adopted!
Alyson is sponsored in honour of Dr. Alyson Clark who helped countless Save Me dogs. Wishing her all the best on her next adventures!
Alyson is a 3-year-old sweet, and incredibly loving little terrier. Weighing in at just 12 lbs, she can leap from the ground onto a bar stool with ease. She would be a great candidate for agility training!
She is currently living with other dogs and would be OK living with a larger dog. She enjoys following the adults around like a little shadow but is terrified of young children and will chase them away from her. Her foster home has children 6, 8, and 11 and she is starting to come over to the older child. We noticed that she can be shy and hide behind us when she is being overwhelmed but we think that will go away with time building up her confidence. Alyson is crate trained but would prefer to be spooning with an adult in bed all night, as she is a major cuddler and lap dog. You have to be careful though as she is likely to sneak under the sheets to take a nap and its very hard to notice her. Alyson is housetrained.
The ideal family would have someone home most of the time, and does not share a wall with the neighbours because she can bark very loud for a little girl.
Alyson is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
