Introducing our Beans!! He is 7 years old chi mix, or possible Toy Fox Terrier mix. He is 9 lbs, UTD with vaccines and has had a dental.
Beans came into rescue south of the border and was diagnosed with heart worm, he was treated in August and has been cleared in good health. He will need to be treated monthly with flea, tick preventive.
Beans is an awesome dog, smart, totally housetrained, but in the beginning you must watch his body language till you both understand what he is trying to tell you. He loves being outdoors, keeps squirrels away and he is fast on the move. He barks at motorbikes and regular bikes, school buses and large trucks. I think most things that move fast. Beans would not do well in a an apartment or condo, townhouse. He does bark some when you leave to do errands. He needs a totally fenced secure yard.
Beans gets along well with other dogs, I believe cats too, but he does chase them if he sees them outside. He is quiet in the house. When someone visits, he will bark. He is doing well with slow introductions and a calm human. He loves sleeping in the human bed, and will tunnel under the covers to the bottom.
He is a happy and very loving little boy, up on your lap to cuddle is his favourite spot. He does well on a leash. Can you find room in your home and heart for our loving Beans.
