Jenna has been adopted!
Jenna came into rescue, from a difficult situation, a number of months ago. She spent almost the first 3 years of her life in a kennel, in a barn. Jenna had an issue with one of her eyes which was neglected and when she first arrived into rescue we were concerned that she would lose the eye. Jenna has been under the care of an eye specialist and with the diligent care of her foster parents her eye is now stable.
Unfortunately, she did lose all vision in that eye. Jenna will require eye drops, twice a day, throughout her life.
Due to her start in life, Jenna can be quite timid and is hesitant meeting new people. Once she knows you she is very loving and affectionate. Jenna does well with the other dogs in her foster home but is much more interested in the people. She loves a good run around the yard but is basically a big couch potato. Jenna walks very well on lead and is great in the car. She caught on to house breaking quickly but does have the occasional accident still.
After spending over 4 months with her foster family, until Jenna was medically cleared for adoption, her foster family realized that she was already home.
