Ginger has been adopted!
Sponsored by two fur babies, Charlie and Blue
Ginger is a 4 year old Boston Terrier mix, she is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Sweet as can be, with just a touch of attitude to make her personality well rounded and fun. She is great with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. Ginger has a blast playing with other dogs, her best friends funny enough always seem to have a similar coat pattern to her, but she overall has great social skills. She would do well in a home with a balanced dog who enjoys playing, but won’t harass her constantly, as she does value her beauty sleep. Ginger has her basic obedience, she walks well on leash, and has also successfully gone for off leash walks. She is crate trained, house trained, and not at all destructive.
Previously, Ginger showed reactivity due to built up frustration from not having her basic needs met, but since completing her board & train has not shown any more reactivity. Follow up training is recommended to ensure continuation of her positive behaviour while she settles into a new home. There are 4 hours worth of lessons included with her adoption.
Ginger is a medium drive dog who loves going for hikes, park walks, and off leash runs. She also enjoys playing fetch and tug with her people, but her favourite game is how long you can pet her while she’s curled up in your lap. I don’t think I’ve ever described a dog as being an “absolute doll” before, but Ginger fully encompasses it.
If you need a little more love in your life, Ginger has enough to go around.
