Pico arrived in our care in poor shape. We are working hard to get his health sorted out.
He’s a wonderfully sweet older gentleman who just loves to cuddle. His favourite napping spot is pretty much any blanket he can wiggle under. He loves to sit up high on the back of the couch and likes to find a sunny patch of floor to stretch out in. He gets along with everyone he meets.
Pico underwent two dental surgeries in order to clean and repair his mouth. He does have a fistula in his mouth that we cannot repair. This causes him to breathe a little loudly, and an adopter would need to be aware of this to monitor for any sinus/nasal changes. Otherwise, it does not effect him.
Pico has also been diagnosed with Lupus. This was let untreated and has caused damage to his nails (which my be permanent), hair loss along his spine and some damage to the tips of his ears. We are treating him for this and monitoring his progress.
