This adorable little Maltese named Maxi is a very gentle and meek soul. Non aggressive, non shedding, very quiet, and generally very chilled but is easily scared by people. She enjoys short exploratory walks around the park. Crate trained but we know she would also do well cuddled up on the bed. She’s been spayed, vaccinated, and healthy. Having a rough start to her life, she’s still learning how to be a pet and hasn’t had very much human interaction, so she is quite frightened of people picking her up and walking around her, but she is slowly warming up. She would be best suited with an experienced dog owner, may not be great for a busy family as she currently will bolt as soon as she sees the door open, or gap in the fence, etc… Must be vigilant to prevent her from escaping. She prefers to be around other dogs, and would be a good companion. She is perfectly content to cuddle on soft blanket on the sofa, or curl up on the bed. Currently learning how to walk on a leash and is doing very well with outdoor potty training. Adopting family will need to have patience with her to build trust, and keep her safe.
