Faith has been adopted!
Sponsored on behalf of Kelly who we adopted from Save Me Rescue almost 8 years ago!
This wonderful girl is just getting her legs underneath her. ( Pun intended).
This wonderful tree hound is 65 lbs of pure love.
Her life before rescue has been hard. Dumped at the shelter extremely underweight with a broken foot. The scars on her back attest to some kind of chemical burn where hair will no longer grow.
Even in the poor shape she arrived in her love for life was evident.
The foot has been x-rayed, it’s 80% healed with her walking on it more and more. She will always have a bit of a limp, but it doesn’t slow her down.
Faith is very affectionate . She hasn’t met a person she doesn’t like or can’t win over with her beautiful eyes and big soft ears.
Due to her size, she would do best in a home with adults and older children as she is still a bit forgetful she is not lap sized. She would do best in a detached house with a fenced yard to run in . She loves to sing the song of her people and her baying is not conducive to an apartment or attached living arrangement.
Faith is house and crate trained. Loves to nap in her crate and is crated if her foster parents are not home.
She is learning her manners well but like all dogs beginning a journey, should not be left alone unattended as she will find something to chew.
Good with other dogs, she will give chase to the resident cat if given the opportunity.
Due to the healing process of her foot, her walks have been limited, but she does well on a leash on a short walk.
Faith goes from low to medium to low energy. She can often be found vying for the coveted spot beside her foster dad. A wonderful girl, with so much love to give.
This girl deserves a home wolf her own where she will continue to thrive. Are you the one?
