Hi my name is Bama
l am 6lbs and 12 years old but l still have alot of spunk. I am working really hard on house training with a little help from my foster mom. l am not too crazy about going for a walk, but l love to run around the backyard with one of my toys or play fetch with my foster mom. l think l would like to be adopted by an older couple or a family with older children. I’m polite with the cats in my foster home. I love to be the center of attention but have lived with multiple dogs my whole life, prior to coming into rescue, without any issues. I would do well as an only pet or with other small, respectful dogs. I love belly rubs and lots of cuddles.
Bama was treated for heartworm and in an abundance of caution we subsequently treat the dogs with a particular preventative that is given by injection and last for six months.
I cannot wait to meet my forever family.
