Roscoe

Roscoe has been adopted!

Roscoe is sponsored to say a big thank you to Sherri and Jamie T.

Hi, my name is Roscoe! I am a strapping 4-year-old male, who weighs a mere 11lbs (but don’t worry, I have a much bigger heart). My brothers, sisters and I all came from a hoarding situation where we were not given the attention that we deserved. I would love to be loved; however, I am a little timid and shy. I am slowly coming out of my shell and will need a forever home with adults only who will have the time and patience to continue to build on my confidence. Ideally, I would love it if my forever family were home most of the time with me.

I have always been around other dogs, but I have never been able to get used to them, they just scare me! I tend to hide behind my foster mom when the others are around, other dogs are just sometimes too much. Being the only dog in the home would be 100% ok with me! As for cats, they do not bother me! They mind their own business and I mind my own and so that is a-okay.

When I first came into foster, my foster mom showed me this thing called a “leash”. It is quite a concept to master. I am doing my best but still have trouble understanding exactly why I need it and how to walk with it properly. I much prefer a fenced in backyard where I can freely go about my business. Speaking of “business”, I am also still trying to figure out why I always must go about it outside!? This is a work in progress and my foster mom says I am doing better every day and boy do I like it when she praises me! Makes me feel like I am finally doing something right in this world! My foster mom often talks to me and I quite enjoy listening to her voice. It makes me feel very loved. It is a new feeling, being loved, and I am quite happy with it.
