Meet sweet Hudson everybody! This beautiful Beagle boy will instantly warm your heart. His affectionate eyes say it all.
Hudson is in foster care living with his temporary family including a Beagle buddy to chum with, getting along beautifully. Hudson has interacted in the neighbourhood, and is easy going when meeting new people and other dogs. He is warm with children but cats he could care less about.
This darling boy does not have a sad story of abuse or neglect. In fact it’s clear he was very much cared for. Due to unfortunate circumstances his owner was no longer able to provide the life for Hudson he deserves. Hudson was lovingly surrendered with hope he will find a family to give him a new beginning in chapter two of his life.
Separation anxiety has been challenging. Hudson is still confused to all the new changes. He does bark and get upset when his foster mom leaves the house without him. He will definitely need a family that is patient and understanding. It will take some time for Hudson to adjust. He needs to gain back his trust again and independence.
Hudson is at that mature age of not really caring about silly toys. He prefers to play fetch and go on adventureous walks. One of Hudson’s favourite activities is snuggling up on the couch with his foster mom and fur bud. Hudson is fully housetrained. He knows basic commands.
Hudson is currently on a weight control program . He is on a healthy low calorie diet , playtime in the yard and daily walks. He will need to continue this routine even after his ideal weight is achieved.
Hudson is your typical hound. Inquisitive . Friendly. Crafty. Like all Beagles they follow their sniffer. A secure yard is mandatory. He isn’t an escape artist so far but never underestimate a Beagle!
