Walter Woodrow has been adopted!
Sponsored with love by Jill, who came across this beautiful senior boy and knew he needed rescue
Meet Sir Walter! This sweet senior was diagnosed with heart worm shortly after he was taken into care and spent the early months of this year with an amazing foster family in the States while he received treatment. Walter is very lucky that it was caught in time as left untreated heart worm is deadly. He was extremely patient while on restricted activity during his treatment but now that it has been completed, he is ready to start his new life!
Walter wants nothing more than a soft bed and a quiet home to call his own. He does startle with loud noises and sudden movements but once adjusted to his new home and with patience and love he will be your loyal companion. Once use to his surroundings, Walter enjoys spending his time being petted and snuggled on your lap.
Walter loves being outside. His tail is always wagging and is his nose is to the ground in true beagle fashion. He will require a secure fenced yard to explore in his furever home. Walter also loves his squeaky toy and you will find him carrying it around with him for security.
Walter gets along with his foster brother dogs and cats but would do fine as an only dog as excitable and active dogs scare him.
If you think you would like to offer Walter a quite home to enjoy his senior years please let him know!
