Kayah has been adopted!
Lady, Lumi, Kayah and Lucy came from an indigenous reserve in Northern Ontario. They were rescued by a group that works with Northern communities. Save Me Rescue is proud to be a partner in finding amazing forever homes for these puppies. They are called ‘Nordic mixes’ and often have a mix of Husky, Sheppard and Lab, but you never really know what you are going to get! In our experience they grow into dogs with lovely personalities who do best with active families.
Kayah is the most adventurous of the pups. She is always the first to figure things out such as how to use the puppy stairs to get on and off the couch, leaping off the dauntingly high step from the upper deck to the lower deck, first (and only) to break out her pen and roam the house for the day, TWICE. She is also the cuddliest pup, generally placing herself beside me on the couch when she is ready for a nap. Kayah does not hold back in telling you what she wants, whether it is to play with her or to let her out and run around, she lets you know. She is mischievous and has a big personality.
These pups have had their second set of vaccinations and their second deworm and are ready for adoption!
