Rusty has been adopted!
Sponsored by Jill N., in honour of Colleen Varanelli
Rusty has two sides, a sweet, laid-back side, and a playful puppy side. He is very curious and loves playing with his foster sister and his toys. He is very sweet and confident. He definitely loves being around people. He is excellent on leash, he doesn’t pull or bark at other dogs. He is crate and house trained.
Rusty is 11 months old and is a great size for lifting into the car or bath, he currently weighs 40 lbs. He is still a puppy and has room to grow, likely 50 lbs.
He has a nice long red coat and loves to be brushed. He does shed. Rusty is lovely in the car, you hardly notice him. He is learning basic commands and is very smart and eager to learn. He is happy in his crate and is quiet and relaxed when in there. No signs of separation anxiety.
Rusty has a high drive and is excited by quick movements like most herding breeds. Although there is no cat in the foster home, Rusty would prefer a cat free home. No children interactions yet. Would do well in a fenced yard.
Rusty was lovingly fostered by Stephanie and Adam
