Leena is doing very well and she is ready for adoption. She is such a sweet , gentle little girl ! She loved being at the vets for a little check over…with her tail wagging the whole time. That was also where she gave me her first little kiss…a really nice breakthrough for her.
I do think that she is a Lhasa Apso mix though…often people believe that any of the squishy faced dogs are Shih Tzus…and she may well be a mix of both….with her gorgeous tri-coloured coat !
I know she loves to be around people…wants attention and will follow if you have the patience to talk with her while she is trying to locate you. Leena is indeed blind and just needs gentle guidance. She will need to be on a leash when outside of a secure yard…to keep her safe. She is house trained and loves her meals and treats !
Leena is fine with all the dogs here…and I would suspect that she is fine with cats…but have no way to check in this weather. Interestingly, the first time I heard her bark was when she heard a man’s voice in the house ! I will introduce her to some men and find out a little more about this…I suspect that she was a breeding dog and maybe not treated very well by men…..who knows. Leena was a stray..if you can imagine this dear little girl being a stray and blind….it must have been terrifying for her.
