Poncho is an 8-9 month old Deerhound/Airedale mix who is 45 lbs. of love and affection. This boy is super friendly with people and other dogs and bonds quickly. Poncho finds himself in need as it was found he was too much to handle with very young children as he does jump up. Like all young dogs he would greatly benefit from some basic training and being very smart and eager to please he does catch on quickly.
Poncho takes treats gently and has a wonderful temperament. He is loving and wants to be with his people. He would do great with an active family or an older couple looking for a great walking companion. Due to his size and exuberance Poncho will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12.
Poncho is truly a diamond in the rough who will excel with some stability and an owner who will take the time to help him be the best he can be – and he is quite amazing already.
