Lucy is adopted!
Lucy is a friendly and people loving lab mix who is looking for a rural environment to continue living out her country lifestyle. She would be a wonderful addition to a family with children as she has good manners, loves her family beyond words and does not jump up when excited.
Lucy does fine with the cat in her home and would love a big dog pal to play with. On walks she is reactive towards small dogs, and a home with a small dog would not be recommended for her.
Lucy soaks up any attention she can get and loves her belly rubs, car rides and meeting new human friends. Lucy will walk well on a leash, come and sit on command ( as long as she is not too distracted) and she is also house trained . Lucy has a good understanding of what is hers in the home and usually does not bother with things that do not belong to her and is not destructive.
When her family goes out, she is happy to relax in a room of the house until they return, she whines a little at first but settles quickly. Lucy is a moderate energy dog who tries her best to mirror the energy of her people and is happy to do whatever her family is doing as long as she can be with them.
Lucy is best suited for a home in the country where she can run. She would love to have another big dog to play with however it would not be necessary as she loves all the attention to be on her. She loves to go for walks. She does not need to be constantly stimulated and does not love to ‘play’ with people but would prefer to follow you around and watch what you are doing.
