Berkley is a very happy and cuddly beagle boy who loves the company of people , cats and other calm dogs.
Berkley is the sweetest most gentle dog his foster mom has ever met! He is an expert snuggler with a tail that never stops wagging. He is fully house trained and trustworthy left uncrated during the work day.
Although Berkley is extremely affectionate he possesses a very kind and gentle affection and is not one for face washing and jumping up on people. He is very confident that he was meant to be a lap dog and likes nothing more then curling up on his foster mom’s lap. He would love if his new family let him sleep in their bedroom at night as he likes to be as close to his people as possible.
Berkley is very friendly with dogs and people but is respectful and not hyper or excitable. Berkley shares his foster home with a cat, and ignores her for the most part, preferring to direct his attention to his foster mom.
Berkley walks well on leash and enjoys spending time outside with his foster mom. Berkley would be an incredible therapy dog, as he is so gentle, sweet and friendly.
Berkley seems to mirror the energy of his foster mom and is happy to cuddle or go for a walk with her if that’s what she would like to do. Berkley’s ideal home would be one that would involve him in all aspects of their lives and in return he will be a very loyal family member .
