We know very little about Sammy’s background. He was surrendered to a shelter in Kentucky, and arrived in our care on Saturday, April 8th. He is a very gentle and loving soul that gets along with everyone he meets. Sammy can be shy at first but warms up easily. He loves his nightly walks and is very curious about the outside world. He’s great with his foster brother, and other dogs he meets on his walks. Apparently, he’s also good with cats. Sammy knows to do his business outside and will let us know when he needs to go outside. He has a healthy appetite and loves to spend time with his foster mom while she’s cooking. Sammy is a good boy and is looking for a human to give him plenty of cuddle time. Sammy does not have any known health conditions; however, he does have a heart murmur.
Please note Sammy is deaf. He is a timid dog that requires a calm home environment. Sammy spends a lot of time sleeping in his bed, and cuddling in his foster mom’s arms.
