Cora

Cora is an adorable 4 year old beagle mix who hails all the way from Kentucky. She has the softest fur to pet, which is especially lovely considering how affectionate and eager for pats she is! Cora is as sweet as can be, and is eagerly awaiting her furever family.

Cora’s beagle nose sometimes brings out a curiosity in her to check out her surroundings, but she comes when called and does very well with her harness.This fully house-trained girl is an absolutely pleasure to walk or play with – responsive, playful, and friendly to humans and dogs alike. Though she gets along well with other dogs, it is best that she find a home without cats or those significantly under her 40 lb size (she is on a wee bit of a diet). She loves to play tag, but does not always realize her size when frolicking with smaller dogs.

A HUGE fan of people great and small (including children!), Cora just wants to share her love. Being a beagle mix, a fully fenced in backyard is an asset for this active girl. Despite her deep south past, she sure is loving all the snow we’ve had. She will play “fetch” with the snowballs you throw her way. Though not a chewer, she delights in soft toys – but mostly from the inside out!
