Emma

Emma is a happy, gentle and eager to please young terrier mix. She loves people and dogs of all ages and would be a great fit for a family with school aged children. Although she is interested in the resident cat in her foster home, she lets the cat be the boss.

Emma would be a wonderful family pet to almost any family. Although house trained and not interested in chewing things, she is still quite puppyish in her ways and needs to work on leash manners.

When Emma is outside, she is very excited and does pull quite a bit on the leash. Indoors she is happy to curl up on the couch with her head in your lap or pressed against your chest. When Emma cuddles with her foster mom she nuzzles her head right in and lets out an enormous satisfied sigh, it is clear that Emma has been waiting for and dreaming of these cuddles with her new family. Once Emma knows her routine and what is expected of her, she is a very well behaved dog. Emma is extremely eager to please and will sit on command, she would be an excellent candidate for obedience school or even agility classes.

Emma’s foster mom thinks she is extremely smart and lives for being told that she is a “good dog”. Any family would be so lucky to have Emma, she will definitely be your very best friend and constant companion.
