Sasha has been adopted!
Before applying for Sasha please make sure you read the complete profile. Sasha is a dog that needs work and patience to overcome the life she left behind. Only applied if you are committed to work with a dog who has this issues.
Sasha is an approximately 6 year old Yorkshire terrier. She was recently saved from a horrible puppy mill where she was used for breeding. She has now been spayed and given a clean bill of health from the vet.
Due to her many years of suffering at the hands of the mill operators, she is timid and shy. She is learning a lot from her fur foster siblings and is very motivated by treats. Her house training is a work in progress and pee pads are currently being used in her foster home. She has never been on a leash but is a quick learner and with time, will love the enjoyment walks provide.
Sasha will need a home with a family who will have the time and patience to work with her. She will need to build up her confidence and would be best to have another dog in the home to show her the ropes. Sasha will need an adjustment period in her new home. Which means, she will need time to get used to the new routine and may be a little chatty when crated at first. After she understands the comings and goings of the household she is happy in her crate resting until you return. We are asking for someone who is home most of the time and willing to work with her on this. Also its best if she be in a detach home with a fenced in backyard. Another option would be doggie daycare as she just loves playing with other dogs.
This sweet girl is so deserving of a new start and a happily ever after.
