Allie has been adopted.
This Kentucky gal is belle of the ball! Allie is the kindest, sweetest dog ever! She has a very soft coat and loves, loves, loves being petted. If you stop, she’ll nudge your hand to encourage you to keep it up! She is a very calm dog with low energy. She walks beautifully on a leash and will stop to smell the roses – she’s a beagle mix, after all!
Allie knows “sit” and we’re sure she will learn other commands. She’s playing well with the other dog in the house, but doesn’t show much interest in toys. She doesn’t appear to have any issues over food and is mainly about sticking with her alpha. She’s housebroken, not a chewer and very, very well behaved. Allie will growl at something occasionally, but you just tell her to stop and she stops immediately.
Though Allie’s paperwork lists her at 3 years old, her foster mom thinks she might be slightly older than that. She looks like she’s had pups recently, but is now spayed and has been vaccinated. Apparently she was underweight when she was found stray but gained a lot of weight before her trek to Canada and now looks to be a very healthy size. She is truly a gem of a dog.
