Taiga has been adopted.
Beautiful Taiga has arrived! This girl is 10 months old and under 30lbs, and is a wee bit tiger in appearance. She is incredibly gentle and sweet. She leans in for affection and may want to be a lap dog – but not in a pouncy way. Slow and steady is this girls motto. She is very thankful for any love sent her way.
She has arrived in Canada all the way from Mexico and has adapted to her foster family with ease. She sleeps though the night in her crate (not a peep!), and we are working on her house training. She pees every time she is outside and has just had a few accidents inside. She isn’t a barker so her foster mom just need to learn her signals to get her outside when needed. Consistency will be our game while she masters this.
She is great with cats and dogs and kids. She does try to play with foster sister kitten (also from Mexico) and they are bonding quickly. Taiga is a gentle sweet girl – but still a bit in puppy play mode. Her foster mom can’t imagine anyone not loving her!

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
