Mocha is a beautiful 1 year old miniature pincher mix from Tennessee. True to her breed, she’s a very smart, loyal, playful and active little girl.

When Mocha first arrived she was quite nervous and timid. However she settled in quickly and her playful and loving side came out in a flurry of licks, kisses and a constant wagging of her tail. She’s a sweet reminder of the value of pet companionship. She is eager and ready to learn and be an integral part of a loving family.

Mocha is house and crate trained. She will willingly go into her crate when asked to and can often be found relaxing or playing with her toys in her crate. At night she sleeps in her crate with the door open near her foster parents in their bedroom. The moment she hears someone is up in the morning she joins them in bed and greets them with lots of kisses.

She currently lives with two senior dogs and gets along great with them. She often tries to engage in play, but because of their age they are not interested in playing with her. She would love to have another playful dog in her home not just as a playmate but to help her build her confidence.

She can come across as being a bit standoffish when meeting certain dogs on leash. She will seek reassurance from her foster mom but does well when reassured things are ok.

Mocha loves her walks and is eager to explore and check out her surroundings. Because of this she tends to pull on her leash. However she is improving everyday.

Mocha is also living with two young children in her foster home ages 7 and 4 and is great with them. We feel she would do well in a home with respectful dog savy children.

Like many pups her age, she can be a little nervous in new situations and meeting new people. But we are confident that in a stable loving home, who will continue to help build her confidence she will thrive.

Mocha has lots of love to give the right person/family. She enjoys being in close proximity to her humans whether hanging out in her crate or on the couch with her favourite blanket and toys. Ideally, Mocha would live in a home with a fenced yard so she can zoom around the yard. Having a dog already in the home would be beneficial as she would learn the ropes of day to day living and build some confidence.

Mocha has no health issues and is microchipped, spayed and vaccinated.
