We are very proud to be a registered Canadian Charity. Save Me does not receive any government funding. While we do charge adoption fees, they cover just a portion of what it costs to care for our dogs. It is through the generosity of the public (individuals, companies, and organizations) that we are able to take care of the dogs that come into rescue and save so many lives. Donations are the life blood of the rescue.
As well, we do have fundraising events. Our biggest fundraiser is our Holiday Cards, which runs in the month of November and features Save Me alumni.

As a registered non-profit charity, we are happy to issue tax receipts for any donation of $20 or more.
