Betsy

Cocker Spaniel – Female – 19 lbs – 1 yr (approx.)

Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby, Riley and Penny. Every furbaby deserves a loving home and happiness.

Betsy arrived into Canada one week ago from Tennessee. She has been a delight to foster, loving everyone she has met once she has been given time to warm up to them. Betsy Babe is a one year old spaniel cocker mix, who has a lovely personality and seems to be wagging her tail constantly. She is affectionate, and loves any attention given to her. Betsy loves to be around her people, always close by when we all go about our day. She plays well with our youngest dog, and gets along well with her other foster dog siblings, and simply ignores our cats. Betsy loves playing with toys, often going to the toy box to select her next “victim”. Betsy is still a puppy and does need to be redirected occasionally when chewing on things she should not. Betsy does bark, sometimes without a reason. She is quieted quickly and then she is on to the next thing. Betsy adores the outdoors, and loves going on her daily walks. She walks wonderfully on a leash, chasing the occasional leaf as it blows past her. Betsy travels well in the car, sitting pretty in her seat. She does not do well in a crate, preferring to sleep or chill right next to her family. Potty training is still a work in progress, frequent trips outside with tons of praise seems to be the secret to successful no accident days. Betsy has the softest wavy fur, brown with tips of black. Don’t let her serious look fool you, she is always up for a game of fetch, a belly rub, hugs, kisses, or out of control zoomies! She is a gentle dog, with so much love to give. We are all falling in love here, I’m sure you will too!
