Willie

Terrier Mix – Male – 15 lbs – 3 yrs

Sponsored by Bowie, a Save Me alumni who is thriving!

Meet Willie!
Willie is a 3-year-old, 15 lb terrier mix with the cutest salt-and-pepper coat — grey and black throughout with bright white feet and a white chest. Originally from Tennessee, he’s now living in Toronto and looking for a forever home to match his cheerful spirit.

Willie is a happy, friendly, social little guy who loves everyone — dogs, kids, adults, you name it. His gentle nature and cheerful personality make him an excellent family dog. He trots over to greet new people with a wagging tail, hoping for a pat on the head or a treat (he’s very treat-motivated and learns quickly!). He truly tries his best to be a good boy and picks up new routines fast.

Earlier this year, Willie was treated for heartworm and has made a great recovery. He is fully vaccinated and neutered.
He does have one remaining short-term care requirement: his heartworm recovery plan includes restricted activity for the next few weeks — no long runs or high-energy play. Short, calm walks and quiet companionship are perfect for him during this period. After that, he can resume normal activity like any other dog.

At home, Willie is a certified lapdog and cuddle machine. He sleeps next to someone every night and loves giving kisses, soaking up affection, and being close to his humans. He adores companionship and would fit beautifully into a warm, positive household.

Willie will thrive in a loving home that appreciates a snuggly, affectionate dog who wants to be part of the family in every way — including bedtime cuddles. His perfect adopter will be someone who wants a lapdog and doesn’t mind sharing their bed with a furry friend.

Located in Toronto and ready to meet his forever family. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate companion, Willie just might be your guy.
