Whispey

Maltese – Female – 8 lbs – 5.5 yrs (approx)

Sponsored in memory of George

My name is Whispey, and I am pounds of fluff and love. I love to follow my person like a shadow and get hugs and kisses on your lap. My enthusiasm is unwavering!

Coming from the breeder environment, I need to work on my potty training and leash skills. But with a regular routine, I am going to the bathroom outside.

I have been spayed and the vet says I’m in great health. During her veterinary check-up, Whispey was found to have a grade 2 luxating patella. This is a very common issue in small dogs and at times Whispey will give a hop when running around. It does not affect her mobility at all. A grade 2 luxation does not require intervention. Like all dogs, Whispey should be kept at a healthy weight to not add any further issues.

At night and when my foster mom is away, I easily go to my crate with a tiny bit of barking.

I’m so small that getting along with children should be easy and I live with my foster sister who is a beagle with no problems.

If you are looking for a happy lap dog, I’m your girl!
