Tucker arrived into our care at the start of September. When his foster mom named him Tucker, she had no idea how perfectly she named him. Just adding a few letters makes his name Tuckered….HE LOVES TO SLEEP! This calm boy loves to sleep on his foster mom’s shoulders when she’s sitting on the couch…he just can’t get close enough to his humans.

Tucker is about 1 year old. His foster mom describes him as a very wise little man with such a big heart! While he’s a little nervous meeting new people, he warms up with encouragement (a little cheese helps too!). When he feels safe with you his little puppy ears perk right up. He is an affectionate boy who loves giving kisses. Loves going for walks, and is housetrained, having only two accidents since he arrived.

Tucker is still learning his name and is nervous outside, so he would do best with a fully fenced yard for his safety. Exceptions to that would be secure leashed walks with someone who has experience with nervous dogs.

He does well with dogs his size and ignores cats. He is a good eater and loves to share human food if he gets the chance.

Tucker enjoys sleeping beside his foster Mom at night and occasionally asks to go outside for a midnight pee. If his crate is left open, occasionally he can be found napping in there. He has not quite mastered steps yet, but we’re more than confident he will master anything he puts his mind to.
