Trixie is a snuggler by nature and will want to join you or her dog siblings any chance she can. She loves to get up on the couch and curl right in. While she will sleep the night on her dog bed, she’d much rather be snugged right up on the big bed with everyone.

House training has been going very well, but Trixie isn’t sure how to let you know she needs to go out, so offering an open door every so many hours is helpful to keep training going smoothly. She is loose when her foster mom goes out, but isn’t left for extended periods at this time in her training.

Trixie is cat friendly, but the other dogs provide the companionship she needs. She is playful with the other dogs and fits right in. She does not like to be alone, so she does best when she is nearby the other dogs in her life. She is mostly quiet but can bark if the other dogs get barking.

Trixie recently met several children at a social event and seemed to really enjoy all of them, and loved the attention and gentle affection they gave her.

Her ideal family must have an existing dog that would love a cuddly friend and playmate. A fenced yard to play in and run loose. Someone is home most of the time, but they don’t need to be home all the time. They must also want an affectionate dog because Trixie has a lot of love to give her future family.
