Tilly is a very sweet, sensitive gal that loves all the attention being good brings her. She wants to be good and wants to please. Tilly has a delicate build with long legs, short hair and lovely tan markings. Everything about her is gentle.
Tilly is very food oriented and so as her trust in you grows, she will learn whatever you are wanting her to learn. She walks easily on a long leash in the woods with no pulling and on a short leash in the park. Although her prey drive is strong, she no longer rushes to chase squirrels or chipmunks. Tilly is also house trained.
While Tilly was perfectly happy in her open soft crate at night, she had moved onto the bed (with permission) and that is her happy place now.
With proper introduction she does well meeting other dogs, as long as not too many dogs at once as that can be overwhelming. Seldom does she play with toys but when she does, she has a great time. She loves her daily walks in the woods and in the fields. She is coming around to meeting people with a little interest now. Having guests offer a treat or two, is very helpful in her introductions. (Who doesn’t like new friends with snacks?)
Tilly is a hugger and she will let you know when she needs them. She also loves to curl up and nap by your side. She just loves to be close to her people.
Her ideal home would have a fenced yard with easy outdoor access as she loves to sunbathe and run free in the yard.
