French Bulldog – Female – 25 lbs – 5 yrs (approx)

Sponsored by Theresa Naus -to celebrate the most incredible (almost) 5 years with my soul dog Bubba who passed in January 2026. There will never be another like him. Thank you for all the love you give at Save Me Rescue

This retired mill mama is incredibly well socialized with her people and absolutely loves the company of anyone willing to pet her or play with her. She is a very playful girl who adores toys and will happily entertain herself with balls and squeaky toys. She even knows how to play fetch and truly enjoys playtime with her family.

She has shown that while she is very friendly and affectionate with her people, she can be a little unsure around strangers. She doesn’t show any aggression—no growling or reactivity—but prefers to take a “wait and see” approach and may keep her distance at first. With a gentle approach, she will accept pets and warms up nicely.

As a former mama, she does have enlarged mammary tissue from having puppies in the past. This is very common for retired breeding dogs and does not bother her at all, but we want adopters to be aware.

She is very people-oriented and does well with kids and other dogs. She is not fearful of men. Cats are unknown at this time. She absolutely loves cuddles, pets, and attention from those she trusts.

She is still working on potty training. Coming from a breeding environment, she was never taught typical house training or how to hold her bladder, but she is very treat-motivated and is learning quickly with consistency. She will go outside to pee when rewarded and is making great progress.

She now really enjoys walks (she was hesitant at first) and does well on a leash. She’s happy to head out and explore, especially in quieter areas or on nature trails.

She is a sweet, affectionate, and playful girl who just wants love, attention, toys, and a comfortable home to enjoy the rest of her life.
