Ruby is a beautiful gem.

Ruby is a collector of things… She likes to take her foster mom’s items and put them in her foster brother’s bed, which she has decided is now hers! Safe to say, when something small has been “lost”, it will most likely be found in her little bed!

She walks well with her foster brother and has met other dogs on our walks; she is quite timid with them. At home Ruby can be growly with her foster brother. She tries to guard her foster mom, wanting all her attention, but she does stop when asked to do so. Ruby is a puppy mill momma so a lot of the behaviours we are seeing come along with Ruby’s past experiences and environment. She will blossom as she builds confidence and learns all about the joys of being part of a family.

She is working hard on her house training, so having easy access to a yard would be very helpful to continue her regular visits throughout the day. She would also truly enjoy being able to run free in a yard of her own as well. Something she hasn’t had the chance to do before now.

Ruby needs humans with her during the day who love to pay her the special attention she deserves. Being the only pet in the house would be best for her. Given the extra attention, patience and caring, Ruby will be a beautiful loving pet in your home.
