Rosalie (Rosie) is a sweet and gentle soul. After spending her early life as a puppy mill mama, she is cautious, and will take time to trust.

In the home, she is curious and adjusting very well. She currently lives with a cat and dog, and would do well in a home with another calm, friendly dog, as she often looks to her foster sister for comfort and direction. She can live with a dog savvy cat.

She is starting to show us her playful side and enjoys stuffy and rope toys. Rosalie will carry them around until she finds the perfect place to sit and play. A home with a fenced in yard would be great as she loves to run and chase the squirrels. With routine, she has been doing great with house training.

Rosalie is making great progress with leash walking and prefers lo lead. She is curious to meet everyone on her walks, and approaches slowly and on her terms. She prefers dogs her size that are calm and respectful.

She settles nicely in her crate overnight and when left alone. At first, being by herself was difficult for her, but with routine and support from her foster fur sister, she has come a long way.

Rosalie loves being close to her people. A patient family where someone is home most of the day and a dog sibling would be ideal. This sweet loving girl is ready to find her forever family.
