Meet Olive — Small, Sweet, and Trying Her Whole Heart Out

Olive is a tender hearted little soul with a quirky spark and a whole lot of love to give. She’s been blossoming in our Extra Care program, where structure, gentle boundaries, and thoughtful training have helped her feel safe enough to show who she really is: bright, funny, eager, and wonderfully affectionate.

She’s learning so much right now — how to settle and relax, how to walk politely on leash, how to check in with her person when she’s unsure, and how to recall even when playtime is very exciting. Pattern games, sit stays, down stays, “follow me,” place training… she’s taking it all in stride and trying her best every single day.

Olive is social with other dogs, playful in a respectful way, and discovering that the world isn’t so overwhelming when she has a human she trusts to guide her. She’s vocal and expressive, but never unkind — just a girl with big feelings learning how to navigate them.
When she’s ready, Olive will thrive in a home that can offer routine, patience, mental enrichment, and kind leadership. She’ll give you her whole heart in return — the snuggles, the silliness, the joy of watching a young dog grow into herself.

For now, she’s working hard, soaking up love and learning, and getting closer every day to being ready for her forever family.
