Missy spent the first part of her life living in a puppy mill, but now at age 6, she is ready to embark on the life that she deserves.
Take a moment to watch Missy’s video — it captures her spirit better than words ever could: https://youtu.be/pFpzY__9AUs?si=4MREwwlkxgf-pKmV
As you saw in the video, Missy loves to play with other dogs so the ideal home would have another playful dog, or be one that has frequent access to a playmate.
Missy is a gentle, affectionate little dog who loves people, attention, and being close to her humans. She has become quite the lap dog, with those big eyes that seem to say, “surely there’s room for me too.”
Missy is spayed, up to date on her shots, and house trained. She weighs about 18 pounds. She had several teeth removed when she came into care, but that has not slowed down her eating.
She is good at walking on a leash and has recently accomplished going up and down stairs. She loves every dog and person she encounters.
She is a huge fan of chew toys and bones. She likes nothing better than curling up in one of her beds and chewing on a bone. She has also discovered one of life’s greatest joys: sleeping in the family bed.
