Lilah is a 4 year old poodle and former mill mama who is now discovering just how wonderful life can be. She is a gentle, submissive, quiet little soul with the sweetest personality and a constantly wagging little stubby tail. Lilah adores people and is much more focused on human companionship than other dogs, although she does well with both dogs and cats. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe.

This happy girl is currently on a weight loss journey and doing wonderfully. She would do very well in an apartment or quieter home environment. Lilah is comfortable being left alone, settles nicely in her crate, and enjoys sleeping in her bed beside her foster mom’s bed at night. When Lilah first arrived, she had a couple of accidents in the house while adjusting to her new routine. With a consistent schedule, she is now housetrained and doing very well. She’s also making great progress with leash training every day.
