Meet Izzy Buttercup — the sweetest little shadow you’ll ever meet!
Izzy came from a puppy mill and is bravely learning all the things most dogs take for granted — like stairs, potty routines, and that cozy naps are better on the couch than in a kennel. Every day she’s blooming into the happy, confident pup she was meant to be.

She’s a total velcro dog who loves being close to her human. If you move, she moves. If you sit, she sits. And if you walk away during dinner… well, dinner can wait.

Izzy adores her foster sister and kid companion and walks beautifully on leash, stopping and starting right along with her person. She’d do just fine in a condo and would thrive with another friendly dog her size — especially if her human works outside the home. When she’s left alone, having a dog buddy helps her feel safe and calm.

She hasn’t met any cats yet, but we think she’d be open to making feline friends who are gentle and kind.

Izzy is scheduled for a dental soon and, like most Schnauzers, will need regular dental care to keep that cute smile shining bright. Once her dental surgery is complete, she will be available for adoption.
