Beautiful, sweet Hannah is a unique looking beagle mix girl that has a gentle way about her. She was timid and unsure of her new surroundings when she first arrived, however as she begins to feel safe, her lovely personality has begun to shine through. She is settling into her foster home nicely and is now ready to find a forever family to call her own.
Hannah would thrive in a calm, loving and positive environment where she can settle into a steady routine that helps build her confidence. She’s a shy girl and may need a little time to feel comfortable in new situations, but once she does, her soft, affectionate, and playful nature truly blossoms. She sleeps soundly in her crate through the night and enjoys her daily walks, balanced with playtime and cozy naps close to her humans. She likes playing with her toys and having the occasional zoomies in the yard. Just as much, though, she enjoys staying close to her people — happily lounging nearby while they work, cook, or unwind with some TV.
Food-motivated and eager to please, Hannah has made wonderful progress with training. She is doing great with her house training and is about 90% there—she quickly learned that potty time happens outside and is now working on letting her people know when she needs to go. With continued consistency and routine, she’ll have it mastered in no time.
Hannah is still a little shy, so we feel she would likely to best with older respectful, dog-savvy kids who understand her shy nature and will give her patience and kindness.
She loves other dogs and has done well with dogs of all sizes. Hannah would happily share her home with another friendly dog or enjoy regular playtime with canine friends.
While Hannah sees her crate as a safe space, she prefers not to be crated when her family is away. When left uncrated she has done very well—spending her time playing with toys or napping alongside her two senior foster brothers.
Hannah doesn’t need a busy or highly active lifestyle. What she needs most is a loving home where she feels safe and secure—and a yard where she can stretch her legs and play. In return, she will offer unwavering loyalty, gentle companionship, and a deep, special bond that will fill your heart every single day.
