Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby and Penny. Every furbaby deserves a loving home and happiness
Fancy is embracing life after spending her life in a puppy mill. She is initially shy of people and can be nervous when directly approached. She will need a gentle patient adopter who will go at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she is a happy, affectionate girl who greets every day with a bouncy excitement.
Smart, treat-motivated, and eager to please, Fancy is a quick learner and continues to gain confidence daily. She currently lives with a dog and looks to her for guidance, especially when meeting new people and in new environments. Fancy would be fine with another dog but would also be happy to get all the attention to herself.. She has a high prey drive and would not do well in a home with cats or other small animals. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night and is calm during car rides. With routine, she has been doing great with house training.
She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she’s part of the action. A securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and burn off some of that happy energy would be ideal. She loves her toys and durable toys are best. Because of her size and bouncy excitement, she would be best suited to a home with older children that are calm and gentle.
Fancy would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy daily walks, playtime, and opportunities for mental enrichment. Because she does not do well when left alone for long periods, a home where someone is around most of the day would be ideal.
Fancy is searching for a family willing to give her love and patience and she will bring love and loyalty to her forever home.
