Meet Evie 🐩✨
Evie is a stunning 7 lb merle mini poodle, just 2 years old, fully vaccinated and spayed—and ready to find her perfect match 💫
Timid at first, Evie quickly shows her spicy side once she feels safe—she’s got fire in her little paws 🔥 and isn’t afraid to let you know when she’s uncomfortable. She thrives best with other small, confident but easygoing dogs, as she’s used to being part of a pack. She adores her chill foster brothers 🐕🦺, snuggling with them and trying to get them to play all day long.
People can still feel a bit overwhelming for her, likely because she didn’t have much human interaction in the past. In her foster home, she lives with three gentle kids (8, 10, and 13) 👧👦👦. While she used to keep her distance, she’s already starting to relax—and even sneaks in close when no one’s paying attention 🥹 At bedtime, she snuggles up beside you and sleeps through the night with no trouble at all.
Evie can be vocal when she’s unsure, especially around new or unexpected sounds. Her bark can be loud, but as she settles in, she’s learning to feel more at ease.
She’s nearly house-trained and prefers to go to the bathroom in the backyard—she’s a little shy and likes her privacy 🌿 Whether she’s zooming around (she’s fast—and she prances!) or calmly exploring, it’s clearly her happy place. She taught herself the stairs in a day, so we know she’s a quick learner 🎓🐾
Crates? Not for her—likely because she spent too much time confined in the past. But she’s perfectly content in an x-pen setup, where she can see what’s going on and feel secure without feeling trapped.
Evie’s ideal home:
